Tip 17: Sell Off Items You No Longer Use
Everyone has been guilty of being a pack rat at one point or another. Whether it’s the collection of baseball cards you have from when you were a kid, collection of dolls hidden away in the closet, or every pair of shoes you have owned since high school, we all have a tendency to let stuff build up over time. Make a commitment to take some time to clean out your closets and hold a garage sale. Not only will you be clearing out old items that have started to pile up in your closets, attic, basement or garage, but you will make some money in the process. If you don’t want to hold a garage sale, check with your favorite charity, local Goodwill store or other charitable organizations and make a donation so others can enjoy your ‘stuff.’ Sometimes it takes getting rid of the old to make room for the new! Get ready for lots of new and exciting things in your life by shedding some of the old!
